Our
Story
At Seasoned Scholars, we recognize the unique challenges and triumphs of nontraditional students. Born from the journey of a first-generation college student and teen parent, our mission is to create a supportive community for those who don't fit the mold of the "traditional" college experience. Whether juggling work, parenting, or a delayed start to higher education, we know the path can be daunting - but also rewarding.
Seasoned Scholars fills the gap for students who often feel underrepresented or underserved. While universities offer numerous clubs and organizations, most cater to traditional students, leaving little space for those balancing careers, families, or part-time studies. Seasoned Scholars is here to change that.
We provide resources and opportunities tailored to students aged 25 and over, those with dependent children, part-time enrollees, and anyone who chose college after a different life path. By fostering connection, offering flexible opportunities, and understanding your journey, we ensure that every scholar feels seen, valued, and empowered to succeed.
